What I’m Listening To
Music has always been a large part of my life. So much so, I originally went to college to study music composition and theory. But as my performance skills are lacking, that dream never materialized. I am almost always listening to music and have some song stuck in my head even with no audible sound playing. I find that music expresses my emotion and what I am feeling better than what I can place into words. It is worship. It is a reflection of the heart. Even during songs that were not intended to be an anthem for God’s glory I find myself falling on my knees in awe of who He is.
When I find a song that resonates with how I am feeling that day or week, then I often will listen to it on repeat, literally for hours day after day.
